IPitomy Announces SMS Messaging.

IPitomy is preparing to release our SMS Messaging platform. This exciting new application will allow you to receive and send SMS messages through your phone number, DID or toll Free number. SMS messaging is the preferred communications method for many people. It is a fact that users respond to Text Messages immediately compared to email, which may have a much slower response rate..

There are two primary elements to the application.

Send and Receive direct SMS messages from your Windows desktop. Now you can communicate via SMS with employees, clients, customers and others using todays most preferred communications style.
Use IPitomy's Key Word Auto Responder Bot to automatically send SMS messages to customers who text a specific keyword to your phone number. For instance, a customer could see an ad or read on a website to text the word Flower to a phone number. The IPitomy Keyword Auto responder will reply instantly with a message. It might be a discount for a bouquet of roses at your shop. It can be used to drive traffic to your business, send a link to a website or deliver information automatically to the party who sent the message.

IPitomy Announces Voice Mail Transcription Service

IPitomy is preparing a new release of our IP PBX Software that will include an option to transcribe voice messages to text. This new feature will provide the audio file attachment to an email, plus the text version of the voice message (see the picture to the left)

Voice Mail transcription offers several important features besides the fact that it is incredibly cool!

► Transcribed Voice Mail can be read in noisy environments
► See the contents of a Voice Mail message during a meeting while simply glancing at the email
► Keep Voice Mail private in public places
► Lawyers can read a voice message in court without disrupting proceedings

This feature will be released in the 6.0 version software in Q3 2018. The feature is an option available on both premise based systems and hosted cloud based systems.

New License Server Coming Soon

IPitomy has created a new Cloud based licensing server. This is an important update for several reasons. In the past, IPitomy PBX systems have been secured to a hardware platform.
